The title may have overplayed the absolute severity of my situation, my mouse is still functioning. However, on this unfortunate day, a KDE Plasma developer and very sad Ritchie is experiencing the unfortunate slow demise of one of the best mice ever made. And it is stressing me out. They don't make this mouse anymore, I don't know what to replace it with, and.... please help.
Melodramatic writing aside, I have a Logitech G600 mouse that I bought back in 2020. It is really wonderful for me because I've been able to use it to control Magnifier on Windows (zooming in and out, etc.). When I switched to Linux, I never had to reconfigure those accessibility controls and they always just worked under Plasma. And then I discovered Piper, meaning I could even configure it. Awesome! Then this happened.

I need help finding a new mouse. Taking screenshots, and copying logs to have read by TTS, are a thing I do a lot. Nobody wants a dying left-click button. A few people suggested I try doing some solder work to replace the switch, but I'm blind and really hot melty sticks aren't exactly safe.
If anyone has any, I could really use suggestions. I don't need it to be wireless or to have RGB, but I do need it to work out-of-the-box on my system or require very little configuration beyond actually configuring the shortcut buttons. If I were still a kid, I'd be willing to experiment more with it, but the G600 is assistive tech for my blindness and I really just need my computer things to work so I can work.
I'm not used to forums, it's been a while, sorry if I'm rambling or too dramatic about a mouse breaking, but also thanks in advance and uhhh....hi? a...wild ritchie appeared?
