i saw what mattkc did with sonic runners, and it inspired me to try it with the game djmax technika q. unfortunately, the newest version of that game uses il2cpp. i mostly want to reverse engineer it for the sake of porting to 64-bit android and pcs. i'm mostly confident that trying to use an old game client would break private server functionality, which is vital for the game's operation. any help? thanks in advance.

Re: reverse engineering unity games?
IL2CPP is a challenge, but there are tools that attempt to reverse it back into C#, I think by recognizing common patterns in conversion from C# to C++.
I've never tried it, but this appears to be the most popular one right now. Though it hasn't been updated in about two years so your mileage may vary.

Re: reverse engineering unity games?
thanks, matt! unfortunately, upon importing the project, even with scripts placed properly, i'm met with nothing upon attempting to run it. the game i'm targeting is quite old, so i don't believe il2cppdumper being a bit out-of-date should affect it much. it could just be a bit of unfamiliarity with how unity works, or it could be specific to how the game works. i appreciate the reply!
if you run away, you gain one. if you move forward, you gain two.
