Not sure what your general familiarity is with Linux, but one of the key features of Arch is that it's largely DIY, so you should theoretically be able to tailor it to your hardware.
For some reason, this reminds me of the days of
Damn Small Linux, the distro whose main selling point was that it ran off an ISO under 50 MB. I guess it was mostly for novelty (or possibly for embedded systems?), I wonder if anyone ever mained it on their desktop lol
