Just throwing it in so it doesnt get lost, here's a old pre-kinect boot animation file.

Installation:
1. Install Xbox Neigbourhood on your pc (look up a youtube tutorial) and have xbdm.xex set in your plugins list in dashlaunch.
2. Download the pre-kinect Bootanim.xex from here, launch your xbox 360 into the normal dashboard
3. Open your Neigbourhood and navigate to Active Title Media, in it you should have the whole Flash.
Example:

4. Move or delete the bootanim.xex in the Flash (Strongly recommend to backup but i'll attach a backup here too just in case)
5. Copy&Paste the pre-kinect Bootanim.xex to the Flash
6. Reset your xbox and voila!

Remember to use Xbox Neighbourhood because i've seen people having issues when copying it from a usb stick or hdd (i guess the xexmenu doesnt have enough permissions to modify the flash IG)

That's about it. Have a nice day! :D

I've always used this on my modded 360s because it just looks soooo much better! Using this on my JTAG Jasper with the Proto Stealth Server which lets you use older Xbox 360 Dashboards on the latest kernel just feels so right.
I hope more people with modded 360s find out you can do this
