As for me, I use https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/prod ... oo-remover. It's a citrus based acidic sticker remover that works on both hardware and game cases

I use adhesive side of the stickers themselves. It works 50/50.

I just use sheer will-power. Often times, if I get an electronic full of stickers, it was a hand-me-down that I'm only using because it's obsolete low-end hardware I'm using to test a game on. Since I'm not going to take it out into public or use it as a daily system, a lil left-over adhesive residue isn't going to hurt me.

Now, if there are stickers on an electronic that I bought myself? That's another story, probably involving a baseball bat or other blunt object targeted at whoever decided to break into my bedroom just to put stickers on my computer.

If its just a normal plastic backed sane sticker that peels of in one go i normaly just let any small amount of resedue just get removed by palm oil if its a morden laptop. If its a older one i just use some normal ipa and just wipe it of with a bit of elbo grease and it usualy is just fine.

If its a paper back one I normaly let them soak in ipa for them to start to get desolved and use a spudgure to get most of it of and then a damp cloth.

But most of the time stickers normaly just peel off

hand sanitizer works really well, cuz it doesn't evaporate immediately
