Let me start with saying it about splinter cell double agent version 2 which came out on ps2, gamecube and og xbox.

So, I had a new hdd installed so i redid the partition and threw the *hacked* emulator that allows you to run unsigned code, have xbox guide menu and so much more. Sc da v2 is supported and is on the xbox store. I first tried downloading it from there, but when i launched it, it didnt work. It showed the white background xbox logo and rebooted the console. I thought it could be a xbox live issue (note i use a modded xbox with a stealth server so i dont get dunked) so i downloaded an iso file from the web. Still doesnt work.

The game is in the compatibility list, it says it has a few minor issues so i dont know whats the issue. I tried using the regular version of the hax (?) That has only the unsigned code feature but no different results. Any ideas ?

I've restored it and moved this there.

As for your issue, I think the real question is, what do other OG Xbox games do? If it's only this game, that would imply something wrong with the dump/files/etc. But if it happens with all OG Xbox games, there's probably something wrong with your console configuration or setup.

actually im going to try it, before the hdd swap emulator worked fine i played burnout 3 and star wars episode III the game on there. still things could change

Sadly burnout 3 doesn't work. I tried re-doing the partition and copying the compatibility files but it doesnt work. I'm really wondering what's the issue?

EDIT: I found the original comp. files, i'll try them tomorrow.

the original emulator doesnt work too. Im leaning towards something being wrong with the hdd or something because this is becoming crazy

Ladies and gentlemen, We got em.
The problem was the stealth server. I had to remove it.

Yeah, it has to do with the stealth server. The way i found out is trying multiple stealth servers. Tethered showed a white xbox screen then it cold rebooted itself, while on proto the screen went black and it froze. So i removed the stealth servers from the plugin list in dash launch and voila.
