the default phpbb smilies have white pixels around them

it's these default smilies (eg. 
) that have white pixels around them and it kind of bothers me when i see it.
i know that there are packs of smilies online that aim to fix this, and i think this one should do the trick? (this is also the offical phpbb website so i think you can use these no problem)
