Intel® Core™2 Quad Q8400
Radeon™ RX 550 4GB
Not sure about the RAM but DDR2 (four sticks) and i have 6GB in total
2 HDDs - the main one of 80GB where i have the OS installed (i use gentoo btw)
And second one one of 500GB where i save personal stuff, lol (steam/gog/epic vidya, music, and cringe 4chan/furry stuff)
A TP Link wifi adapter (the one with two antennas but no bluetooth sadly)
And for PSU a cheap one ig cuz its like 500w
anyway, ik the gpu is pretty strong for a weak cpu like a quad but at least i can play Just Cause 2 and Sleeping Dogs at max.
You try to be so different,
As does everybody else,
Create your own distinctions,
And flaunt them for yourself

  • AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
  • GIGABYTE B550 Gaming X
  • 32GB DDR4 RAM @ 3200MHz
  • random cheapo 1TB SSD I forgot the brand name and I don't feel like opening my PC just for a forum post
  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti w/ power limit of 90% (my PSU doesn't really like Ampere power spikes and limiting the power draw helped with that without taking away from the performance, card even runs a degree cooler :D)
sorry for shitting in your shower, it will happen again

- Ryzen 7 3700X
- RTX 2060s
- 1TB SN750, 1TB 7200rpm Toshiba HDD, 500gb Crucial MX500
- MSI B450 (Don't remember model)
- Phanteks P400
- Seasonic 750 Focus Gold
- 32GB 3600mhz CL18 from Team Group
- Windows 11

I only really use it for Gaming. I know Windows 11 isn't a popular choice but it's been infinitely more stable for me compared to Win10 ever was. For uni and coding, I use my 16" MBP w/ m1 pro

Used some older hw to throw together a NAS though using Ubuntu Server, my old R5 1600, GTX 1050 for hw encoding with Jellyfin, and 2x 4tb WD Reds (non-smr) 5400rpm

Recently upgraded my system so I'm re-posting

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700x (unchanged)
RAM: 64GB DDR4 3200MHz (unchanged)
GPU #1: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6gb (dedicated to Linux)
GPU #2: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060ti (dedicated to Windows)
Also upgraded to a 1000w PSU from a 650w to accomodate the new GPU.

I did this upgrade to give me more flexibility, I can have a Windows VM with the 3060ti for gaming and heavy-duty gamedev work, and I can use Linux for everything else. I no longer have to deal with Single-GPU passthrough either, so I can use both OSes at once using looking-glass for Windows.

Is there any reasons why you did not pick an AMD GPU for Linux?
It turns out leaving an Internet identity behind is hard MikeBruh

Nothing too exciting:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6800
RAM: 64GB DDR4 @ 3200MHz
Storage: 2 x 1TB NVMe Samsung 970 Evo

I also have a thunderbolt add-in card, because I can't just do a "simple" setup.

Yeah, simple fact is I already had the 2060 from long before I switched to Linux.
