Will this PS2 slim power brick work with this slim?

Post by CrabHead »

So i have a scph 77003, but i also stumbled upon a cheap untested ps2 scph 70004 and im deciding to risk it and buy it but there's the matter with the power brick. I have a strong feeling it that this power brick will work with the 70004 since it already works on my 77003 one. But i want to be 100% sure that this won't turn out to be a nuclear bomb that will decimate my house. I'll attach pictures below... (gonna attach pictures in a second)
SCPH 70004 PAL (one im planning to buy)
SCPH 70004 PAL (one im planning to buy)
SCPH 77003 PAL (the one i own)

My power brick
My power brick
Edit: Should mention the power brick is from UK, but i use a adapter to convert it to my plug standards in poland.

The values on the brick (8.5V 5.65A) should be completely compatible with the values on both of the consoles (8.5V 5.3A). The rule is you want the voltage to be the same, but amps on the power supply/brick can be the same or higher.
