my school somehow has some flag enabled on their network that ANY DEVICE that is connected to it immediately has YT restricted mode enabled. funny thing last school year if you had a class where you used a PC, the school's restriction software just didnt work for some reason, AT ALL! including the YT restrictions

edit: also their restrictions are through a chrome extension

That makes more sense...Anyway, assuming that your school does not go all the way to do website whitelist instead of blacklist, you could try watching YouTube on third party frontends like Piped (https://piped.kavin.rocks) instead.

its blocked as "mature"
me and some friends are pretty sure its AI doing the blacklisting, honestly suppressed this forum isn't blacklisted. (it was at the beginning of the year)
anyway, even if that wasn't blocked, through the combination of my google account and the schools network flags, it probably still wouldn't work
