Are there any updates on this so far?

I set up a Flarum forum a while ago for fun. That seemed to be a fairly modern forum software

I currently have a email at mail.mattkc.com. I created it with my youtube membership. I now want to switch to Patreon.
Do I loose my email, once i disable my membership? Does is stay indefinitely? Can I somehow switch it over?
