Re: Learn how to decompile?
I might not be the right person for this, but since you don't have any answers yet, I'll bite. There's not really any big steps you can do, other than just start decompiling. I'd say to start decompiling stuff that you build/work on, since at least you have the source code to compare it with. Then y...

Re: How I set up Windows XP GPU passthrough with libvirt/QEMU/KVM
Is there anyway to have this running in a separate window? I have two GPUs, and the second one is being using exclusively for VMs. Normally, you would use something like Looking Glass, but obviously that doesn't support Windows XP/Vista (nor will it ever, seems like their only solution is to upgrade...

GCC 11.1.0 for Windows 98
I'd like to preface this by saying pretty much none of this work is mine. It's just a project a noticed, and felt this community would be interested in. It's pretty much just GCC 11.1.0, but you can run it in Windows 98. The executables it creates also runs in Windows 98. This allows you to compile ...

Re: How I set up Windows XP GPU passthrough with libvirt/QEMU/KVM
This doesn't work for me anymore. I still get the ACPI compliance error, even though I have the machine set to pc-q35-7.2
I guess an update broke it.

Re: How I set up Windows XP GPU passthrough with libvirt/QEMU/KVM
What GPU are you using? I've had similar issues when passing my Radeon HD 43XX/45XX card to Windows 7. I have two GPUs in this computer. One GTX 1650, and a GT 220. I pass the GT 220 to the Windows XP and Windows Vista VM. I can restart Windows Vista perfectly fine, but the Windows XP VM breaks aft...

Re: How I set up Windows XP GPU passthrough with libvirt/QEMU/KVM
This works fine for me, but when I restart Windows XP, I wouldn't get any output, and my computer would start lagging heavily. Stopping it would let my computer go to full speed again. If I try starting it again, then there's a high chance my PC would freeze. I have a Windows Vista GPU passthrough, ...

Re: How I installed Snow Leopard with virsh/virt-manager/QEMU/KVM
You can download the Snow Leopard ISO from archive.org: https://archive.org/details/snow-leopard-install_202112 virt-manager does actually have a template for Mac OS X Snow Leopard, you just need to enable "Include end of life operating systems" Oddly enough, only Mac OS X 10.6 seems to bo...

Re: How I set up Windows 7 (or Vista) GPU passthrough with libvirt/QEMU/KVM
I can't confirm for sure right now, but just to be sure, have you set "kvm hidden" and "vendor id"? Those are necessary for NVIDIA cards to init on KVM, and I have a mini-guide here if you don't have those. I have both, but it still doesn't work. Still a black screen. I know the...

Re: How I set up Windows 7 (or Vista) GPU passthrough with libvirt/QEMU/KVM
Can anyone with an Nvidia GPU confirm if this guide works? I have one, and it didn't work for me, and it seems like that's probably why it also didn't work for gregory003. EDIT: For more information, it just stays on a black screen, but I can hear audio via the passthrough audio. UEFI virtual machin...
