I've also seen some eBay listings that advertise it as a 4 pin but in the photos it's only the 3 pin which makes me wonder if you can fit a 3 pin joystick to a 4 pin controller. Would it be possible to solder one or do the pins not even align properly? Maybe it can be modified to fit. Does the cont...

Quick thing.
If you shake the controller and there's random button inputs it's because there's a piece of foam that deteriorates. you wrap it in electrical tape then it fixes it!
