I've also seen some eBay listings that advertise it as a 4 pin but in the photos it's only the 3 pin which makes me wonder if you can fit a 3 pin joystick to a 4 pin controller. Quick thing.
If you shake the controller and there's random button inputs it's because there's a piece of foam that deteriorates. you wrap it in electrical tape then it fixes it!
